Frequently asked questions
Cloud or my own server?
It depends on load, compliance requirements and how stable your usage is. For variable load and rapid growth, cloud usually works out better. For steady, predictable load a well-organised server of your own can cost significantly less. We do the comparison with real numbers before you decide.
Can you take over infrastructure someone else set up?
Yes. We start by documenting the current state: what runs, where, with which access and what risks it carries. We then propose a priority order, always starting with backups and monitoring.
How often do you verify that backups work?
A backup that has never been restored is not a backup. Under a support agreement we perform a test restore on a regular schedule and send you the result in writing.
