Tipalti, a payables and finance automation platform, has introduced Tipalti Treasury, an integrated cash management product. It combines real-time cash visibility, automated 13-week cash flow forecasting, bank connectivity and supplier payment workflows. It builds on technology from Statement, which Tipalti acquired in June 2025 and first offered as a standalone service. The capability is now fully part of the main platform.

What it means: For most finance teams, cash visibility and supplier payments live in separate tools: bank portals, spreadsheets and the ERP. That means manual reconciliation, delays and payment decisions made without a full picture of liquidity. Putting cash forecasting into the same system that runs payments shows straight away how a payment batch affects liquidity in the coming weeks. For Greek small and medium businesses, where managing cash is often the most pressing issue, the same idea works with simpler tools. E-invoicing and myDATA already provide structured data on receivables and payables, and banks offer account access through PSD2 APIs. By connecting these sources, a business can have a 13-week forecast without an expensive system. Greek software vendors have an opportunity here to offer cash management on top of data they already collect. What matters most is data quality: a forecast is only worth as much as the figures behind it, so reconciling bank and invoice data regularly is essential.
