On 3 November 2026 Stripe put Stripe Treasury into public preview in the United Kingdom, letting eligible businesses receive, hold, convert and move GBP, EUR and USD from the Stripe Dashboard. Coverage includes payouts to suppliers in many countries and virtual/physical cards. The launch extends money-management tools beyond payment acceptance for UK firms on Stripe.

What it means: Greek firms with a UK entity or customers already on Stripe may pool multi-currency balances and supplier payouts without a separate UK banking stack, subject to eligibility. Accounting, tax and banking compliance still matter when moving euros and dollars via a UK account. It does not replace a Greek IBAN or domestic SEPA duties. It is a treasury tool for cross-border flows on Stripe, not investment advice. For Greek businesses and public bodies this means a practical review of contracts, timelines and compliance duties, and it is not investment or legal advice. IT, finance and compliance teams should document owners, review cycles and fallback processes before wider adoption or a vendor change.
