Greece's tax and customs authority AADE issued circular E.2066/2026 on 27 October, amending E.2045/2026 on the 2026 Single Aid Application under the CAP Strategic Plan 2023-2027. For intervention P1-31.4 it sets the details a soil analysis must contain: producer name and tax number, plot location and number, sampling date, crop and a depth of 0 to 10 centimetres. For action 31.6-A it sets 30 November 2026 as the deadline for issuing the technical adviser's invoice.
What it means: The Single Aid Application is the main process through which farmers receive direct payments and payments for eco-schemes under the Common Agricultural Policy. The circular's amendments are technical but matter in practice to those enrolled in the relevant interventions. A soil analysis missing any of the required details, for example without the plot number or sampling date, may be rejected at inspection, risking a cut in aid. The same applies to the deadline for issuing the technical adviser's invoice, which is strict. For producers, the practical step is to check with the laboratory that their analyses include all required fields and with their adviser that the invoice will be issued on time. For declaration centres, agronomists and laboratories, the circular means adjusting the templates they use. For software companies serving agriculture, it is a reminder that documentation requirements change often during the year and systems must be quick to update. The full text of the circular is available from AADE.
